Is your casework file and records management ready for GDPR?
With the deadline for compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) approaching fast (25th May 2018), it is a good time to review file and records management policies and how your case management system supports this.
Key GDPR principles include the ability to delete personal data upon request and appropriate data retention (personal data must be kept “no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed”).
Workpro has a file management utility which supports client records management and document retention policies. We have completed a significant overhaul of the way this utility works in Workpro version 3.14.
The new file management functionality (found in the Administration section within Workpro) is much clearer and easier to use. The new interface is designed to allow administrators full control over which documents and cases are targeted at all times during the process:
Rules are configurable (by CAS) - to determine which cases are targeted and when.
The process can be scheduled and automated.
Colour coded tabs and buttons clearly define which processes are scheduled.
Targeted cases are presented in a clearly laid out grid with filtering options.
Workpro version 3.14 is about to start rolling out to clients. For more information please contact us on 0044 (0)131 449 7071.comments powered by Disqus
