Workpro is a web-based case management application that has been designed and implemented using the Microsoft technology stack. This approach was selected in order to provide a well-proven technical, scalable environment and cost-effective solution ensuring investment protection for our customers.

Seamless Microsoft Integration

Workpro integrates with all the key Microsoft Office products, providing a seamless interface for users working on cases e.g. writing Word letters, communicating with stakeholders using Outlook email etc.

SharePoint Integration

Workpro uses SharePoint, the cost-effective, de-facto industry standard for document management, to store all case documents in one, easy to access library.

Standard server environment

Workpro runs on ‘commodity/standard’ servers with standard Microsoft tools and does not need the support of a large in-house IT department for its implementation and support, providing a cost-effective long-term solution. We also have extensive experience in the deployment of Workpro in a large variety of managed server environments.

Document-centric technology

Workpro stores all items pertaining to an enquiry, request or complaint in its integrated Microsoft SharePoint document management system – incoming documents, outgoing letters and reports, notes on telephone conversations, email, scanned items and other electronic submissions. The “whole story” of the case can be easily seen and understood in one place by caseworkers and managers.

Our experience combined with our robust workflow technology ensures your system will be quickly operational. The Workpro Configurator is a very flexible tool that allows the system to be developed in line with changing business needs, easily accommodating refinements to processes, legislation etc.

Flexible reporting environment

Workpro uses powerful Microsoft SQL Server reporting tools to provide a comprehensive management reporting capability, generating highly formatted tabular and graphical reports. Being ODBC compliant, other reporting tools could also be used e.g. Crystal Reports. The ad-hoc report writer is very user friendly for users with limited IT expertise and allows system users to gain access to the data they require for decision making.

Support for remote and home working

Workpro utilises web and browser-based technology with advanced security features to support secure remote working, relevant third party access etc. Active Directory authentication is used for all access control providing a simple and efficient approach to user security.
